South Bass Island is accessible by ferry from Port Clinton or Catawba Island. Best known for the huge Perry's Monument which provides an observation platform to look out over Lake Erie, this island is packed full of other family fun like miniature golf, fishing and cart rentals to see the sites.

State Park Lodging:

Camping: 125 non-electric sites, and 10 full service sites with electric, water and sewer hook-ups. There are flush toilets, showers, and a dump station.  Pet camping is permitted on designated sites. 

Cabents- combining features of a cabin and tent, are available through a lottery system for weekly rental from Memorial Day to the last weekend in September.
